The Department of Surgery and the Division of Urology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is recruiting a board certified/board eligible General Urologist for a Medical Director position at its practice site in Plymouth, MA. Candidates must have strong capabilities in surgical care of patients with all types of urologic conditions. The ideal candidate should also possess exceptional teamwork, program development, leadership, and mentorship abilities. This position will work collaboratively with hospital and physician leadership to provide clinical community-based care at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth. The surgeon will also hold privileges at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. At Beth Israel Deaconess, we are committed to excellence in clinical care, research and education and to the health and wellness of our patients and our communities. Our growing network with community hospitals, physicians and community-based practices provides high quality care close to home, with easy access to specialty care downtown when appropriate. BID Plymouthis an acute care, 160-bed community hospital serving 12 towns in Plymouth and Barnstable counties and is the largest hospital in the southern region of the South Shore of Massachusetts. Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School at the rank of Lecturer, Instructor, or Assistant Professor will be commensurate with experience, training and achievement in the field. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the Beth Israel Deaconess medical staff. Access is available to surgery grand rounds, lectures, teaching and participation in research, if desired.

* Full medical license to practice in Massachusetts.
* MA controlled substance registration and individual Federal DEA registration.
