To support those needs, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) group is responsible for Agile Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Services, Product Development and Cloud Enablement, Engineering, Operations & Site Reliability Engineering, and Business Services & Governance.The CTO Business Services & Governance team helps turn the vision of CTO technology leaders into reality and clears organizational roadblocks to successful execution. We partner with CTO technology leaders, HR, Risk, Finance, Projects and Communications on CTO strategy articulation, financial analytics, initiative and project portfolio management, control processes, and team member communications and recognition. The team plays a crucial role towards developing, implementing, and executing CTO vision, values, and goals.We are looking for a well-rounded candidate to support the critical Risk Governance and Control function. We seek to operate as a 'gold standard' for technology risk mitigation, and the right candidate will help us achieve that goal.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:* Presents to executive management on risk performance and recommends strategies to implement changes and improvements. Utilizes thorough knowledge of the business unit's functional area or products to support strategic initiatives for the business. Functions supported may include: policy/procedure administration and adherence, business continuity planning, legal and regulatory adherence, SLA negotiation/development, reporting and analysis, process improvement, quality management, MBO development, and/or communications.* Administer processes to triage, prioritize, and ensure timely and quality completion of safety and soundness obligations. Provide regular status updates.* Partner with functional teams to identify and implement strategies to improve process / performance.* Partner closely with Operational Risk Managers (ORM) on robust, clear reporting for line of sight into risk mitigation performance, and work together to continuously improve our risk status.* Assess new policies or changes to existing to understand impact and plans to be compliant.* Administer the review and validation of policy exceptions and proactively monitor to minimize extensions.* Partner with ORM to ensure monitoring and robust reporting of owned corrective actions (CA) from creation to completion, newly created or action plans transferred to us through reorganization.* Partner with CTO technology leaders to identify opportunities to streamline processes for resiliency and better data quality.* Successful candidates must demonstrate the following:o Self-starter who is able to ramp up quickly and deliver results in a fluid environmentso Confident, effective, concise communicator with both executive level leadership and line management levels, both verbally and in writingo Effective at building relationships and partnershipso Highly analytical; comfortable with seeking out and analyzing all levels of detailo Experience identifying key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolutionThe required hours for this role are Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Central time zone. The preferred locations for this position are Des Moines-IA; Minneapolis-MN; and St Louis-MO. Other locations that can be considered are: Phoenix-AZ; Charlotte-NC, San Francisco-CA and New York-NY.Required Qualifications* 6+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services* 5+ years of experience creating pivot tables and performing data analysis in Excel* 3+ years of experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts* 5+ years of process definition and documentation experienceDesired Qualifications* Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs* Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals* Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment* Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives* Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations* Ability to deliver near and long term efficiencies using a strong operational focus* Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders* Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skillsOther Desired Qualifications* Working knowledge of corrective action plan program and processes in technology remediation; as well as tracking and reporting of remediation effortsaJob Expectations* Ability to travel up to 15% of the timeDisclaimerAll offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
