Yes Under the general direction of the Executive Director of the Educational Partnership Center (EPC), the Deputy Director is a college access and preparation subject-matter expert and serves as the EPC's expert in academic preparation and educational partnership development. The incumbent reviews and analyzes longstanding K-12 structural barriers and promotes systemic improvements in targeted regional schools/districts. Provides leadership, policy guidance, and general oversight of center-wide initiatives and various EPC college preparation/enrichments programs, including but not limited to Cal-SOAP, Talent Search, and CRLP. Formulates policies and procedures, provides leadership for developing strategic options to advance short- and long-term center-wide goals and strategies, and ensures compliance with mandated program requirements. Expert knowledge and understanding of P20 educational equity programs and issues.. Strong knowledge of and experience in fiscal and personnel management.
