Yes Under the general supervision of the Director of Prospect Management and Research (PMR), the Associate Director of Development Research is an integral member of the Philanthropy fundraising team, housed within the University Development unit. In this role, the incumbent performs duties in all areas of the Prospect Management and Research operations, supporting pipeline and portfolio development via a client based system.. This includes the development of prospect portfolios and management of prospect moves through all stages of the pipeline for Development Officers (currently numbering 30) and fundraising executive leadership. Analysis and distribution of system generated reports and dashboard metrics further pipeline and portfolio development.. An expansive set of resources is used to implement research and analytic strategies, primarily for major gift prospect identification and analysis, engagement, solicitation, and project management. Synthesized results are presented in written forms such as detailed prospectuses, biographies, or spreadsheet analyses. This specialized research creates opportunities for interaction among fundraisers, senior university administrators, and major donors and prospects, including corporate and foundation executives, government officials and public personalities.. The position may oversee the work of other Prospect Management and Research staff members and the supervision of student employees.. This position uses skills as a seasoned, experienced, fundraising professional. Plans, schedules, and implements moderate-sized, comprehensive fundraising and alumni relations projects and programs, including specific fundraising programs such as annual fund, alumni relations, research, etc. May coordinate and oversee the work of support staff and / or other professionals.
