Primary responsibilities involve providing exceptional customer support to our users and coordinating the flow of new and revised manuscripts from submission through publication, which requires frequent and consistent contact with scientific editors, authors, and editorial referees. Editorial Operations Associates are not expected to have a scientific background, although scientific literacy may be helpful. **Day-to-day responsibilities include:** + Manage high volume of internal and external e-mail correspondence, providing exceptional customer service to authors, reviewers, and staff. + Guide manuscripts through an online database from initial submission through editorial decision. + Monitor peer review process with a goal of obtaining timely feedback from reviewers. + Perform detailed technical checks on accepted manuscripts to ensure compliance with publication guidelines. **What We Offer** This entry-level position is a great opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in publishing.
