We are seeking a highly motivated, talented and influential leader to join our Global Pricing Team in the role of Global Pricing Manager - Pricing Systems. The person in this role will be our Business Lead who will define, develop and implement best-in-class Pricing systems and processes which support our evolving business needs - including alignment of processes and systems related to the integration of Plantronics and Polycom. He/she will partner with cross functional stakeholders to continuously evolve our global pricing framework and effectively leverage all aspects of the Price Waterfall that drive our pricing strategy and optimize results globally. The position will be in Santa Cruz/San Francisco Bay Area and report directly to the Director, Global Pricing strategy. This role encompasses the end-to-end needs of all aspects of the pricing waterfall - including: Price list requirements, design and implementation for different use cases Product configuration requirements, including soft bundles, services and solutions Development and implementation of approval tools and systems to manage all levels of discount across the price waterfall - including the development of a new CPQ tool Key Responsibilities Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to determine end-to-end business requirements for all pricing systems and processes Drive the selection, development, implementation and ongoing improvements of best-in-class pricing processes and tools Design scalable and efficient solutions that support pricing approvals and execution Continuously engage with user community to improve processes and tools to meet new requirements or improve existing functionality Develop, track and publish Key Performance Indicators that can drive analytics to measure process and system efficiency Necessary Skills and Attributes Strong leadership and critical-thinking/problem-solving skills to creatively design solutions that address business requirements while accommodating system, process or policy constraints Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate and influence decision-making processes at senior level Strong team player with energy and commitment to drive change and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams Comfort with ambiguity; willingness to move forward based on directionally correct but imperfect information Proactive attitude and an ability to combine technical skills with an astute and flexible approach to commercial issues in a fast-moving and dynamic environment Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Economics. Mastersdegree or MBA preferred 8+ years of experience on business lead role related to development and implementation of pricing approval systems.
