If you are looking for an engaging, fast paced environment and the chance to join an audio All-Star team, this role is for you.What You ll Do:You lead a team working within the Center of Excellence for Poly' DSP and Audio Systems, providing guidance, mentoring, and priority calls as the team develops acoustic subsystems for Plantronics market leading product lineYou will cultivate effective relationships with Audio Systems, QA, Firmware, DSP, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, & Industrial Design colleagues, as well as outside vendors and contract manufacturersMinimum Requirements (Education and Technical Requirements):You have a BS / MS in Electrical Engineer, with a DSP focus, and 5+ years of experience as a leader of an audio-centric DSP development team. The ideal candidate has been exposed to DSP concepts and audio building blocks such as EQs, Limiters, Compressors, Noise Reduction, Source Separation, etc.You will be able to lead Digital Signal Processing design work and consider performance requirements, verification and validation strategies, design/system constraints and trades-offs, and propose viable recommendations when challenges occurYou have led DSP architecture design and implementation for at least two major signal processing initiativesYou must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic and market-responsive company meeting the needs to several in-flight product development efforts by leading best-in-industry talent to those effortsYou can demonstrate the ability to work openly and collaboratively with internal associates and external vendorsYou have a clear view on industry-related signal processing research and development via conferences and industry organizations, and can identify paths to build IP strategy, kick off and deploy audio DSP initiativesYou should have exposure to the following areas, with enhanced specialization in at least two: headphone/earphone design, speakerphone design, room acoustics, consumer audio solutions, professional audio solutionsNice to have: Foreign Language skills in Spanish or MandarinAbout You:You are passionate.
