Position SummaryDevelop strategic communications content (digital and print) for use by the College of Global Public Health (GPH), serving as a communications specialist on a variety of matters, including branding, social media, photography, copyright, visual and written and style, and crisis communications. Manage creation, production, and distribution of a variety of print and digital communications to a wide array of GPH audiences in a variety of manners. This position interfaces with students, alumni, staff and faculty in GPH and across NYU. This position also helps to support media relations, handling interview requests; and conducts research to prepare faculty for interviews.Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree Public health-related field or Master's Degree Public health-related field (MPH) Required Experience: 2+ years Relevant communications experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Fluency with social media sites and experience with InDesign, Emma, Survey Monkey, Mail Chimp. Must be highly organized, task-oriented, and deadline driven.
