Responsibilities* Act as liaison between 3rd party vendors and all internal departments (i.e. Locations, Ad Sales/Network Partnerships, Branded Content team, Business & Legal, Rights & Clearances, O&T, etc.).* Discuss the creative vision of a segment/projects/event coverage with Executive Producers & associated partners, prepare a complete production plan, including budgets, schedules, assumptions, and equipment/technology recommendations* Assist in administering budget policies to ensure that all activities affecting the budget are guided by uniform rules and established procedures.* Assist with needs in physical production (e.g. on set craft services, gear rental, art load in & out supervision, etc.)* Confirm delivery of all paperwork with production teams: Certificates of Engagement, shooting permits, etc. Guarantee they are complete and stored electronically and hard copies.* Coordinate with all internal departments (i.e. I/T, Facilities, Business & Legal, Standards & Practices, Rights & Clearances, On-Air Design, Promos, Network, etc.) to meet production needs and help streamline the production process.* Create AFTRA timecards & Talent Deal Requests as needed for dept.* Create and review budgets for projects with Production Manager as requested* Develop relationships and maintain rolodex of necessary production contacts, including equipment rentals and personnel across all production categories.* Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on-time and report any issues to senior management.* Help organize the department by accurately labeling both physical & electronic files and creating procedure documents* Maintain good working relationships and cooperate actively with Talent, Scheduling, Finance and other internal departments as well as outside associates to ensure that the objectives of the production are met* Negotiate prices with vendors and crew.* Observe all department and company guidelines.* Occasionally support In-House productions with Facility and IT needs* Review various legal agreements to assure that the terms of the agreement meet Network requirement and that payments are made properly.* Work with Producers and/or Executives from branded project conception through and including final delivery of all program materials to determine and anticipate needs of each project.* Work with the O&T scheduling department to book post, and studio needs* Additional Duties as neededQualifications/Requirements* Minimum 1-3 years as a Production Coordinator or related experience required. Broadcast/Cable experience preferred.* Must have solid understanding of production workflow and have hands-on experience in studio-based productions.Desired Characteristics* Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, must know how to communicate effectively and positively with production team members.* Dependable team player, who works well under pressure while handling multiple responsibilities* Must be trusted to keep sensitive information secure.* Must be team-oriented but able to demonstrate leadership skills, organized, accurate, articulate, responsible, flexible, resourceful and self-motivated
