KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Resource Management to join our New York Financial Services Real Estate Tax Practice

Responsibilities:

* Support practice leadership, client engagement teams and other key stakeholders in the planning, designing, and monitoring of the practice's resource management staffing strategies
* Use both KPMG and third party developed tools to provide creative resource planning solutions and collaborate with KPMG Ignition and the tax practice's innovation team
* Collaborate with practice leadership to track practice and client engagement related key performance indicators and create ad-hoc reports and analysis
* Manage staffing allocation while working with the engagement teams to determine appropriate staffing and profitability
* Work with client engagement teams to monitor project progress, manage changes to project scope, schedule and budget and resolve staffing issues
* Provide training to engagement teams on new tools and solutions

Qualifications:

* Minimum one year of project management experience (e.g. experience driving projects from an initial idea to implementation) preferably in a professional services and client service environment
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
* Background in Data and Analytics, Finance or Data Management knowledge
* Strong experience working with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
