Job Description:

The main responsibility of the Data Entry Specialist is to enter primary research data from written forms into an Excel and PowerPoint database. While the role description is straightforward, the importance of the task is high. Data inputs are used directly in client presentations and deliverables so a focus on accuracy and detail is important. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will work alongside several other Data Entry Specialists, each responsible for entering information for 3-4 different projects per week. Project content spans topics, allowing Data Entry Specialists to learn efficiencies in Excel and the content of an array of industries.

A strong candidate will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, including: database construction and intermittent data projects to support aligned client service teams. A strong candidate also shows the willingness and ability to support internal office functions which can include front desk coverage and related office management tasks.

Staffing Specifics:

Data Entry Specialists are staffed on a project-by-project basis. A typical assignment lasts between 5-10 consecutive business days and work hours are from 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday - Friday. While we cannot guarantee steady work, we have found that Data Entry Specialists who perform well tend to be continuously staffed.

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail
  • A professional and mature demeanor
  • Willingness to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management skills
  • Availability from 9-5:30 five days a week for the duration of the assignment
  • Experience with data entry or excel coding is a plus!
