Salesforce Administrator

You can be an important part of our growth by taking on the role of Salesforce.com System Administrator. Key responsibilities include leading our efforts to streamline Quote-2-Order processes, training, and improving lead flow processes. The insights you develop through improved reporting and analysis of sales processes will have a direct impact on account executive productivity and our overall growth. You will be expected to develop new ideas, find new capabilities in Salesforce and other applications, and drive their implementation and integration inside Appian.

Succeeding in this position requires you to be a self-starter with proven problem-solving skills. You should enjoy becoming a subject matter expert in multiple areas and have a strong affinity for efficient processes, a well-organized database, and a passion for clean data. What You'll Do

Perform administrator functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, queues, licenses, capacity, and storage management.

Create and customize objects, workflows, record types, page layouts, fields (including advanced formulas and lookups), apps, tabs, profiles, security, users, and approval processes.

Maintain the functional areas of data management, contacts, leads, campaigns, opportunities, dashboards, and reports.

Stay current with Salesforce releases and corresponding documentation and provide new functionalities and solutions as needed.

Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues.

Familiarity with common tools such as Salesforce Workbench and Apex Data Loader to import and export data from Salesforce.com.

Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day user requests.

Ensure effective and accurate tracking and logging of SalesForce support and related report issues

Ability to triage issues as they come in to help with assignment and routing of production support needs.

What We're Looking For

2-3 years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator or developer preferred

Certified Salesforce.com Administrator is a plus

Must have experience in all common configuration tasks and Sales Cloud; Service Cloud experience a plus

Experience with data manipulation, cleaning, and de-duplication

Experience with Eloqua, NetSuite, Billing System (Aria, Track, Monexa) a plus

Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge; pivot tables and VLOOKUPs are a must

Ability to reasonably estimate the time for tasks and then meet deadlines set by those estimates; ability to quickly and effectively prioritize multiple requests

Must excel in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a pleasant, supportive, and customer-focused personality and the ability to work across all levels in an organization

Outstanding attention to detail and problem solving skills

Ability to follow through on issues until resolved

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to manage multiple priorities with focus and with the company's strategic goals in mind
