Job Purpose Lead, develop and execute strategies based on SD (strategy deployment process) and TP (transformation planning) in support of the domestic businesses in the Region in alignment with Regional and Global functions. Develop and deploy Regional organizational capability further, implement efficient systems to achieve a best-in-class supply chain function E2E (End-To-End) that will drive competitive advantage for the business. Working across manufacturing and non-manufacturing units to lead and support improvement in delivery service levels, productivity, cash and overall customer experience. Improve performance metrics, internal controls, and monitoring capabilities that ensure regulatory compliance, effective business process management, and ongoing internal and external customer satisfaction. Supports the strategic direction of the business by ensuring the buy-in of our people, continued customer focus, enhancing and increasing productivity through the introduction of changes to the policies, procedures, technology and/or tools. Support overall value stream optimization including inventory management, demand planning, SIOP, production planning, materials management, import/export, physical distribution, transportation and freight. Lead/Support Lean journey roadmap in direct / functional allocated areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct lead Director DC Americas including allocated Distribution Centres Functional lead Distribution Centres allocated to Plants in alignment with Regional VP Operations and Plant Managers Direct Lead Logistics Americas Transportation Management, Freight, International Trade Compliance Optimize Distribution Network and related outbound flows in the Region Optimize Intercompany Supply Network in / for the Region Optimize Inbound Transportation Network in / for the Region Support Global Transportation Network activities Discover / Develop / Deploy MMF (Make Material Flow) across Plants and Distribution Centres in alignment with Corporate Sourcing and Regional VP Operations to optimize Inventory position (Raw Material, Finished Goods) Alignment Strategy Deployment Process / MDI from L3 to L6 (=Hr/Hr board at the machine level) for the Region in alignment with Global Supply Chain Management and Regional VP Operations (L2) Develop / Deploy Lean Roadmap / Transformation Plan (EnerSys Operating System) in allocated areas (direct / functional) accordingly in alignment with Corporate Lean Roadmap (5S, MDI, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping & Design, MMF, CCF) Identify and prioritize process improvement projects which contribute to the organization strategic goals and objectives through Kaizen Blitz, RIE (Rapid Improvement Event), or Projects Support Regional SIOP process Support ERP enhancement and deployment, for instance SAP/PP-MM-WM Streamline processes with technology Qualifications Minimum 10 years of cross-functional operations/supply chain/logistics experience with a strong ERP/SAP background Experience in higher Supply Chain Positions in Global/Regional acting Companies with prove results Broad Industry Experience (Industrial, Retail, Automotive) Strong Background on Transportation, Freight and Contract Management at least on Regional level including Oversea transportation flows (Inbound / Outbound) Strong negotiating skills including experience in Freight/Transportation/3PL negotiations at least on Regional level Strong Background on International Trade Compliance Proven Lean Background / Experience based on sustained continuous improvement results Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and manage complex cross-functional business process projects We noticed that you are already a member of our Talent Community.
