This key leadership position is directly responsible for successful day to day foodservice operations and profitability of the higher education account. The Director ensures client, customer service/satisfaction with efficient cost-effective management that both meets and exceeds clients expectations. You will be responsible for all foodservice-related activities, managing client relationships and talent development. Key Responsibilities: Operates the department in accordance with the approved budget, while providing the client with the maximum value for the dollars spentEnsures that the food offered to the students is of superior qualityInterviews, hires, and trains associates; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problemsDirects and conducts safety, sanitation, and maintenance programsMaintains excellent relationships with students, faculty, guests and clients as well as other departments within the communityPromotes the professional growth and development of the entire teamFosters strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A.
