As a multinational bank active across the global financial marketplace, Barclays is at the crosshairs of increasingly sophisticated cyber adversaries. The bank remains an active target to a spectrum of threat actors with different strategies or objectives, different geopolitical agendas or ties, and different tactics or techniques. The Chief Security Office is constantly evolving towards an even greater emphasis on proactive and intelligence-led cyber defense, making cyber threat intelligence a critical element of the mission. What will you be doing? oProvide Cyber Intelligence Analysis Capability to Security Assurance and cyber security operations teams. oDevelop and drive relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders and external partners, officials and peers, to integrate intelligence into business practices supporting an Intelligence Driven Defense (IDD) methodology. oTechnical analysis of information in order to generate actionable intelligence to prevent attacks against Barclays. oAnalysis of multiple data feeds to provide timely, actionable intelligence and reporting. oConduct Intelligence Investigations and extrapolate adversary tools, techniques and procedures. oUndertake threat modeling exercises of key Barclays threats and systems. oDeliver forward looking, predictive horizon scanning intelligence to inform the business of the development of the threat. oReport on findings through different mediums, including in writing, personal briefings and presentations, both in internal and external forums, to a wide variety of audiences, ranging from highly technical teams to executive management. What we're looking for: oBachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience. o4+ years of experience working with Cyber Security threats: Espionage, Cyber Crime, Hacktivism and Insider Threats. o4+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat modeling, cyber security, or security assurance qualification. o4+ years of experience in the identification, handling, development, dissemination, and reporting of intelligence. o3+ years of experience working with Information Security or tackling insider threats. Skills that will help you in the role: oPrevious experience in Incident Response, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Data Mining. oSplunk oThreat intelligence modeling/ platforms. oDevelopment experience. oUnderstanding of modern cyber security threat vectors including social engineering, malware, denial of service attacks etc. oExperience in reporting effectively to senior managementSalary Range: NAMinimum Qualification5 - 7 years
