Barclays Capital Inc. seeks an AVP, Program Management Analyst for its 745 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY location.

Duties: Act as Program Management Analyst for Cross Asset Global Research. Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Build analytics, dashboards, and workflows to advance business initiatives and build platform for Research management reporting, using Qlikview, Business Objects, SQL. Provide analytics on business performance and make recommendations for improvement. Liaise with stakeholders and IT teams to ensure that business priority items are completed on time in accordance with regulatory and strategic deadlines. Update Management on the progress of various priority items and market the new functionality to Business users whilst incorporating feedback into enhancements. Test enhancement and fixes which have been implemented to ensure there is positive impact to the Business. Ensure Business stakeholder knowledge in using various applications developed by IT teams. Increase automation and operationalize data feeds into management information reports and tools. Ensure compliance with regulations including Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II).

Requirements: Requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in a related Management Analyst role or performing Management Information (MI) reporting or business analysis for a global financial services firm. Full term (3 years) of experience must include: Using Agile methodologies and project management processes to manage workflows and run sessions; Using Excel to analyze large data sets and perform reconciliations; Using Business Objects to extract data and perform Front to Back testing; and Using JIRA or CA Agile Central to manage work streams and log business requirements. One (1) year of experience must include: Working with IFRS9; and Writing SQL queries to manipulate data and perform analysis.
