Away is seeking a Planning Analyst to join our Finance team. We are a global lifestyle brand that is on a mission to provide thoughtful products designed to make travel more seamless. This role will be instrumental in making sure that we always have the right product-in the right place, in the right quantities, at the right time. This position will provide support by updating and enhancing in-depth analytical reports and ensuring that we hit our in stock rate targets through thoughtful inventory movement execution.By monitoring sales trends and creating reports on product performance, this role will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our inventory and allocation are in line with customer demand and company targets. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in Excel, detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to iterate on and implement new processes. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Planning and Allocation and based out of our SoHo headquarters.As a company that values inclusion, Away seeks individuals of all backgrounds and experiences to apply for this position.What You'll Do* Create, update and maintain standard weekly selling reports* Consistently analyze performance trends to inform future allocation* Create reporting tools to help ensure that we are hitting our in-stock and weeks-of-supply targets* Execute transfer orders across our growing retail platform to ensure we hit our in stock rate target across core products by location* Partner and support Senior Manager of Planning & Allocation to assist the Planning team with departmental goals and processes* Work with cross-functional partners including Retail, Production, and Global Logistics* Conduct and report analysis for new product launches cross functionally and identify global product opportunities based on selling* Work with Planning and Data team to identify and track key Planning & Allocation KPIs* Support and perform ad-hoc business analysis as neededWho You Are* 1+ years experience in a highly analytical and data driven role such as: business intelligence/analytics, finance, corporate strategy or retail planning* Very comfortable in Excel including data manipulation/organization and modeling/forecasting* Intellectually curious analytical thinker who can detect patterns and trends to add business value* Experience with a business intelligence tool like Looker or Tableau preferred, but not required* Hard working with a "no task is too small" attitude* Enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment* Passionate about travel (but that's a given!)You'll love working at Away because:* We travel.
