The New York office of Arnold & Porter has a Senior Legal Assistant opening specializing in Commercial Real Estate. The Senior Legal Assistant will? prepare, update, finalize and oversee the execution of loan documents, maintain closing checklists; review title and survey reports; coordinate, review, abstract and perform minor review/drafting of various real estate documents; draft and arrange for the filing of UCC financing statements; prepare closing binders and deal distributions; and assist with department projects as needed and perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:



??BA/BS degree with strong academic record; equivalent experience considered.
??Minimum of five years of law firm experience as a commercial real estate legal assistant.
??Registered as a NY State Notary, or eligibility to become a Notary preferred.
??Proven ability to research, analyze and synthesize large amounts of data.
??Proven ability to review commercial title and survey reports.
??Exceptional interpersonal skills, a commitment to professionalism, integrity and collegiality.
??Highly detail-oriented, including ability to assess and respond to underlying detail issues and implications.
??Flexibility to work overtime as necessary, including nights and weekends.
