About the Role

Position: Director of HR
Reports to: CEO & Founder

We are looking for a Director of HR to lead and manage all areas of human resources management (strategic, operational, and administrative) with the ultimate goal of fostering an efficient, satisfied, and engaged workforce.

They will partner with the Executive team to develop and evolve long-term business goals, as they relate to human resources, and create, implement, assess, and report on the success of HR initiatives (e.g. talent acquisition, performance appraisals, diversity & inclusion, corporate social responsibility).

The Director of HR will be responsible for hiring efforts to build-out the HR team, as needed, and coaching, training, and managing direct reports.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and improve current talent acquisition strategy; focus on the candidate experience and positioning AEDIT as an employer of choice
  • Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate performance appraisal process
  • Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate compensation strategy
  • Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate CSR strategy
  • Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate D&I strategy
  • Conduct periodic workforce surveys (employee engagement, employee satisfaction etc.)
  • Forecast future business needs by conducting regular internal and external environment analyses (SWOT, gap analysis etc.)
  • Develop and implement strategies to proactively meet business needs, as they relate to human resources
  • Maintain low turnover rate through strategic hiring and maintaining high employee engagement and satisfaction rates
  • Lead employee offboarding, as needed
  • Be the in-house expert on employment law and regulations
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies for all human resources initiatives and decisions
  • Gain executive and managerial support for HR initiatives and conduct training sessions where needed

Your Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field and/or Certified HR Professional
  • 5+ years in a senior HR role
  • Experience managing and hiring team members
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. JustWorks) and performance management systems (e.g. Performance Culture)
  • Familiar with project management systems (e.g. AirTable, Clubhouse)
  • Proficient in Google Suite
  • Very familiar with HR analytics and reporting
  • Very familiar with HR laws and regulations
